Application Steps for International Students
International students interested in enrolling at Inukshuk Academy are guided through a simple and transparent admission process. Our team provides personalized support at each stage to ensure a smooth transition into Ontario curriculum studies.
Step 1: Review Admission Prerequisites
Before applying, international students must meet the following requirements:
Appropriate previous academic records (most recent report cards or transcripts, translated into English).
Sufficient English language proficiency to participate in course instruction.
Step 2: Submit an Application
- Download and complete the Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) form, and submit it to the administration by email before registering for any course.
- Complete the International Student Application Form below.
- Upload all required documents, including official transcripts and identification.
- Indicate your desired grade level and course selections.
Step 3: Academic Review & Placement
The school reviews academic records to determine appropriate grade and course placement.
Prerequisite courses are assessed in accordance with Ontario Ministry of Education guidelines.
Students may be advised to complete prerequisite or equivalent courses before enrollment in certain subjects.
Step 4: Receive Offer of Admission
Eligible students receive an official offer of admission
Tuition fees and course details are confirmed.
Additional guidance is provided regarding course sequencing and academic planning.
Step 5: Registration & Payment
Confirm enrollment by completing registration requirements.
Submit tuition payment according to the approved fee structure.
Receive access to the learning platform and orientation materials.
To obtain the OSSD, students must complete the following:
- Students must earn 30 credits: 17 compulsory and 13 optional, as required by the Ontario Ministry of Education.
- Students must complete the OSSLT or OLC4O to meet the literacy requirement set by the Ontario Ministry of Education.

- Students who register for two (2) or more courses may receive a 25% tuition discount.
- Availability is subject to enrollment capacity and may close once the limit is reached.
