Certificate of Accomplishment
The Certificate of Accomplishment is awarded to students who leave secondary school before earning the OSSD or OSSC but wish to recognize the learning and skills they have achieved. It celebrates progress and encourages continued personal and academic development.
To earn the Ontario Secondary School Diploma, students must successfully complete the following:
Creadit
- 30 credits in total:
- 18 compulsory credits (core subjects like English, Math, Science, etc.)
- 12 optional credits (electives based on interests and goals)
Literacy Requirement
- Students must complete the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT) or an equivalent literacy course to demonstrate reading and writing proficiency.
Creadit
- Students must complete a minimum of 40 hours of community service or volunteer work, helping them build character, responsibility, and civic engagement.
